At the invitation of the International Children’s Film Festival, 29 children from the Portas Abertas project, coordinator Carla Carolinne and supervisor Daniela Nascimento had a good time in the dark of the movie theatre watching the Brazilian movie Acampamento Intergalactico (Intergalactic Camp).
The screening took place at Estação Net Rio, in Botafogo, on April 26. It was an unforgettable day, especially for 9-year-old Pedro Henrique, 8-year-old Helena Flach, and 6-year-old Yan Oliveira, who had their first time at the movies.
The Company of the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul provided special transportation to take the children with all the comfort and safety they deserve on the trip between downtown Rio and Botafogo.
We would like to thank FICI for the invitation and for the care they showed for the children served by our social project.
